Telephone Box Sculpture

This was a project designed for the juxtapositioning of a figure in a telephone box.
A figure in a telephone box is in a restricted area whereby the glass windows divide inner and outer space physically at the same time allowing visual contact.

A telephone box is a closed space in which a figure is at the same time closed in, closed out and exposed.

A telephone box is a public place, however once entered, it can become a highly personal one. Each TBS unit is intended to be in acustic and visual contact with

the others. Within the same city, the same contry or internationaly.

So that people in Paris could see and here what is happening in London or New York at any given time and vice versa.
