Telephone Box Sculpture
- This was a project designed for the juxtapositioning of a figure in a telephone box.
A figure in a telephone box is in a restricted area whereby the glass windows divide inner and outer space physically at the same time allowing visual contact.
- A telephone box is a closed space in which a figure is at the same time closed in, closed out and exposed.
- A telephone box is a public place, however once entered, it can become a highly personal one. Each TBS unit is intended to be in acustic and visual contact with
- the others. Within the same city, the same contry or internationaly.
- So that people in Paris could see and here what is happening in London or New York at any given time and vice versa.
